A fully equipped and proficient placement centre is being housed in the campus for the convenience of our out going students. The Dean, Post Graduate Studies heads the placement cell with excellent contacts in the Industry & trade. This round the year placement activity involves students in interactive counseling sessions with the members of the placement cell to ensure their gainful Placement in the jobs before they leave the portals of the University.
The objective of the placement cell are
(i) To seek short duration training for our students
(ii) To identify industrial problem from industries & other corporate sectors suitable for students’ project work.
(iii) To help students for placemen after graduation & post graduation.
(iv) To publish a bulletin every year containing blo-data & details of students successfully completing their degree.
University produces a good number of talent technocrat, to work in the different pools challenging the demands. The placement cell has made remarkable tie-up with important national organizations to assist young technocrats to get suitable placement. Every year campus interview was conducted by various organizations like Fitro Lay, Indofil, Godrej Agrovet, Hind Lever, Syngenta India limited, Coromondal Fertilizers, Agronovo, Pradhan, Needs, State Bank of India, NABARD & several seed producing companies to name a few.
The placement cell explores the opportunity for placing all its students in regarding careers in reputed corporates, industries, Govt. and financial institutions.
This apart, for those from farming back ground & having family business or aptitude to set up their own industry special orientation programmes are being planted to bring about modem concepts to fulfill their dream in to reality.
State of art training and conference with the Extension Directorate with LCD projectors, audio systems, air-conditioned seminar hall & video conference centre, with fooding and lodging arrangements are available all under one roof. |
