This Department is functioning since 1962 catered a good number of PG and UG courses and also conducting researches through Masters’ and Doctoral students. The Department offers five core compulsory courses to Under-Graduates and advance elective courses to selected Under-Graduates as preparative to the PG studies. M. Sc. (Ag.) and Doctoral students have conducted their researches in different aspects of marketing of agricultural produces like rice. Studies also have been made on overdues in cooperative credits granted for agriculture.
