• Organizing blood donation camp and health awareness camp has been a part of NSS programmes. The BCKV NSS unit has become the member of Red Ribbon Club, a voluntary organization engaged in awareness of AIDS and related issues.
• Two villages are being adopted by the NSS unit of BCKV. The student volunteers are being engaged in developmental activities in these villages.
• Under the NSS programmes, a model Nutritional Garden is being established in the primary school of the adopted village, that supplement vegetables for the mid day meal of the school.
• The NSS also organizes Bana Mahotsav in the adopted village and also in the university campus on regular basis.

Small cultural programmes for occasions like Republic Day, Independence Day, University Foundation Day, Teachers’ Day, etc; are being organized by the NSS.
