BCKV, being the pioneer Agricultural University in the State of West Bengal and well acclaimed in the country and abroad, concerns about the syllabus of UG, PG and PhD courses. The syllabus signifying the subjects as well as the topics covered in the course of study is upgraged time to time.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body to co-ordinate, guide and manage agricultureal research and education in the country. In doing so, ICAR periodically appoints Deans' Committee for revision of course curriculum. The present course curriculum for the PG & PhD programs is prepared following the terms and references of 6th Deans' Committee Report and in consideration to West Bengal perspective and strength of the university as well.
