At present, the Department under the aegis of the Faculty offers 4 years (8 semesters) undergraduate course named B.Sc. (Hort.) Hons at Faculty level and Postgraduate courses:- (i) M.Sc.(Hort.) degree for 2 years (4 semesters) and (ii) Ph.D. degree (minimum 6 semesters and maximum 10 semesters) at department level. At post-graduate level, the students are taught specialization of the horticultural science and carrying out research activities in the respective departments. At present, the intake capacity at undergraduate level is 30 and for M.Sc.(Hort.) in Spices and Plantation Crops is eight.
