- Many students have successfully completed M. Sc. (Hort.) and D degree programme from the Department of Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops. Most of the PG and Ph. D students succeeded to earn prestigious fellowship like , National Fellowship for Higher Education (NFHE) of SC and ST students, Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students, National Fellowship for students of OBC and Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child/ Merit Scholarship for Research. A good number of students have joined in premier institutions/ Universities as Assistant Professor and Scientists. Being successful in SRF, ARS and NET (ICAR/UGC/CSIR) etc. examinations. Many students of this Department have been placed in Government jobs like Assistant Director of Horticulture & Food Safety Officer, Department of Horticulture and Food Processing Industries, Govt. of West Bengal, and as Agriculture Officer in Nationalized Bank etc.
